Our sailing community is built of avid adventure seekers, eager for any opportunity to get on the water. For the seasoned competitors to beginners, Takapuna Boating Club offers one of the best sailing venues on the north shore with experienced coaches, club sailing and a range of regattas lined up ready for you to take the helm. We invite you to join our water enthusiasts and take advantage of the easy access to Takapuna waterfront.
Active Members have FREE access to the club’s yacht’s, surfskis and stand up paddle boards when they join up with us. As well as, access to changing rooms and hot showers to freshen up after time on (or in!) the water.
If members have their own gear, the club has storage space available to rent.

FULL ACTIVE.

Free use of club owned equipment, from yachts, surfski and stand up paddle boards.
Free entry to club racing (both sailing and paddling) during summer.
Personal access tag for use of facilities on lower level, incl. hot showers and toilets.
Storage facilities for stand-up paddle boards and surf skis upon request (these are paid for separately and are dependent on availability).
Ability to join regular surfski training sessions or group paddling events.
Invitation to club organized Tactic Evenings.
Discount on venue hire for your next event.

Student (full-time under 25): $160
Junior (under 19): $160
Family: $525 for two family members (two adults or one adult + one child under 19).
Family: $545 for three or more family members (two adults and three or more children under 19).

Access to the clubhouse and outside deck during opening hours.
A 20% discount at the member’s bar for food and drinks. You are welcome to bring family and friends along to enjoy the beachfront views (but must remember to sign them in).
The boat club runs various social club events over the year for its members, from quiz nights, themed evenings, sporting and community events.
